Born
in a musical family in 1981, Christian discovered drumming as a
two-year-old. When he was 4, his composer-producer dad, Norman
Dugas, bought him an adult-size drum kit and they played Stevie
Wonder’s Superstition as a first piece. Winnipeg’s Gordon
Osland (Graham Shaw) was his first drumming
mentor and Christian had his first professional engagement at age
10. He continues to be in high demand as a house
drummer/percussionist and singer in a wide variety of musical
spheres, including live performance, radio, TV and studio sessions.
He currently tours with various groups and can often be found laying
down the rhythm for acclaimed group vocal group Madragaia.
